Dream America's mission is to promote homeownership. The Dream America Program is designed to turn renters into homeowners. Once approved, you go out with a local real estate agent and pick any house you want within your approved budget. Dream America will then buy the home and lease it back to you until you qualify for a mortgage.
Dream America minimum requirements:
-500 FICO credit score
-$4,000/month pre-tax household income (applicant + co-applicant, if any)
-12 months of on-time rent payments
-Savings / gift / 401k of $8,000+ that can be used towards home purchase
